Hello Everyone,
I am forwarding this upcoming seminar information on an upcoming West Coast Sayoc Kali seminar.

Kier in Sayoc Kali on Sunday December 8th at the Kukkido Martial Arts Studio
at 800 Torrance Bl. #104 Redondo Beach, CA.

Times:
Training 10:30-12:30
Lunch 12:30- 1:45
Training 1:45- 4:00

Cost: $75
Attire: comfortable
Gear: Training knives

In addition to my training with Tuhon Chris Sayoc, Tuhon Tom is a teacher to me in Sayoc Kali. I recommend him very highly and suggest that if at all possible you avail yourself of this opportunity. Please email me to be on our mailing list for this and future matters concerning Sayoc Kali.

Seeing how you were the one who referred me into training in Sayoc here in the Bay Area (via sportbikes.net), I'm glad that you'll get the opportunity to work out with Tuhon Kier again!
 
Hi JKD. Do you train with the group in Golden Gate? I just started with them. Am looking to get in some extra training time by getting to know people in the scene. Haven't had many takers when I posted here last so I am looking to get hooked up. Already went to the "gathering" in San Fran to get acquainted with people and sling my face around. Would be nice to train more than once every two weeks other than by myself. I tain one on one with another beginner sporadically once a week but that is it. I am somewhat of a "beginner", rusty, and on a tighter budget with pending layoff and all. Would appreciate any feedback you have. :D

Hope everything has been going well for you. Good to hear that you're still training! Yes, I'm looking forward to learning from Tuhon Kier again. Guro Chung recently started a group down my way, so I hope to hook up with them occasionally as well. Stay healthy!
 
Just FYI. It was a very enjoyable and informative seminar. Got to hear "war stories" of Guro Marc's experiences in a European airport and a couple of Tuhon Tom's Alaskan adventures over nourishment at Pizza Hut. A group of good guys turned out and I'm looking forward to training with them in the near future. As an added bonus, Tuhon Rafael also made the trip out here and helped instruct the class.

Thanks again Guro Steve for the info! Thanks Guro Marc and Kukkido for hosting. And thanks Tuhon for not embedding your blade into my clavicle or squashing me like a bug when you were demonstrating examples of isolation range. :)

I hope you enjoyed the seminar! Tuhon Kier and Kayanan are great teachers and highly skilled in many areas. It is great that Guro Marc and the Kukkido hosted such an event, hopefully more will follow. Great seminar, great people.

It was a great pleasure to meet Guro Marc and Tuhons Tom Kier and Rafael Kayanan.

I look forward to training with the Southern CA group in the future.

Thanks to the West Coast / LA training groups for supporting Tuhon Tom Kier's Sayoc Kali seminar! Great energy and enthusiasm - the guys picked up on the training drills and what they were all about right away. Crafty Dog and family were wonderful hosts and the groups are off to a great beginning.

Looking forward to seeing all of you again!
