Guro Steven Lefebvre will visit Stockholm Blade Arts for a seminar in Sayoc Kali - The Art of the Blade - on December 3-4, 2005
Sayoc Kali is a Filipino fighting art focused on the use of knives and other edged weapons. The strong focus on edged weapons and their related uses has made the art one of the most thorough and well-structured blade systems in the world today.
LOCATION: Stockholm Blade Arts, Brunkebergs torg 5, Stockholm, Sweden
DATE: December 3-4, 2005 (Saturday-Sunday)
TIME: 10 AM to 4 PM
COST: 1000 SEK (or $130 USD). Law inforcement officers and military personnel receive a 15% discount. The same discount also applies for registrations of three or more people from the same school or training group.
REQUIREMENTS: Participants must be at least 18 years old and have a clean criminal history report

SAYOC KALI: In Sayoc Kali you learn how to use a single blade, with progression to the use of multiple blades and projectiles, in conjunction with empty-hands training. Included in this are proper blade handling and blade edge discipline, drawing of blades, vital target discrimination, unarmed knife defense and disarms, projectiles and knife throwing, pressure-point manipulation, environmental tactics, and a system for team work for multiple man situations.
