I've been meaning to write this for the past few weeks. I sent a small fixed blade to Stuart (SBranson) for a sheath. In looking at the sheaths he made for his own knives (both his own and other makers) I knew he'd make a good using sheath.

I was extremely happy when the sheath arrived. Excellent work and surpassed my expectations. Stuart mentioned he had been working with leather for years and it certainly shows.

Far from Coop style photos but hopefully you can see the sheath quality.

Thanks again Stuart. There is a pm incoming with another request!

I got to look that one over in person and it was really a first rate job. Stuart will be doing three sheaths for me over the next little while - the dude has skills.

That's a very handsome, well-made sheath. And if Roger (he ain't no slouch on quality, obviously) says he looked it over in person, it must definitely be as good as the images show.

You can literally watch Stuart's expertise grow from sheath to sheath. He has made the commitment to having the right equipment and the results are very evident. Top quality and getting better with each one.

Looks great to me. A "Butterfly" sheath (I think that is what they are called) is hard to pull off without that dreaded "Hump". This one has very little "Hump".

Some day I hope my sheaths will look as good.

Great job and thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks alot. I have to mention though how much help Paul Long has given me. He has answered all my questions and then some, sharing his experience and skill with no hestitation. A real gentleman!

I'm getting better and recently my attention to detail has slowed my production to near glacial pace but a wise "sheathmaker":) said, "It's either perfect or it's not, there is NO middle ground when you are accepting cash for your work. "
Hope to get there some day. :D

Look familiar Paul... Ha Ha...
just finished this up yesterday.
