Hi there,

Just wanted to show you my new knife model.
It´s an American Tanto blade and called Scafo II. Based on it´s older brother Scafo, it has some improvements like scales and the grinding lines are "flowing" into each other.

OAL: 7.5"
Blade length: 3.5"
Thickness: 0.2"
Blade material: SB1 a.k.a. Niolox
Handle material: black Micarta

Here are some pictures:

Hope you like it and thanks for watching.

First of all - a knife for people who like tantos.
This one is a knife which may be classified "less kitchen - more outside".
The tip is pretty stable, so it can also be used for rougher tasks (as a little prybar).
The secondary blade edge with it´s hollow grind is good for common cutting tasks (box cutting, preparing lunchtime...).

Nope...it's for people who like stubby pry bars.

I like the sculpting of the handle, and the jimping, and that is about it....although for sort of a saber grind, it is very clean at the plunge.

And for the crowd that likes stubby sharpened prybars....you made a lovely example.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Thank you for your opinion Steven.
That "sort of saber grind" was on purpose to give it a more dynamic look and to make a bigger difference to it´s older brother Scafo I:
