Hello all, My wonderful wife recently bought me the Scagel hand made book by Dr James Lucie(priceless). Shortly after I was digging through my box of parts and pieces and found this split tine antler tip. No question on what I was going to do with that. The forge was already heating up so hey, perfect timing. With out further blah, blah, blah. Here you are.

Specs are;

Blade; 3 1/2 inch hand forged, mirror polished, convexed ground 1095.

Handle; Stacked leather, nickel, brass, black and brick fiber spacers and white tail antler tine tip.

Guard; Brass.

OAL; 9 1/2 inches.

Sheath; 4/5 oz tooled Heiser style.

Thanks for looking

Beautiful piece of work. Nice detail- Great Scagel replica. This is definately something I'd be proud to own! As always, nice work.

That is a work of art.
A wonderful example of my favorite design.

Thanks for showing your work. I prefer knife designs from our early makers and this one is a real winner. A very nice design and choice of materials. I'd be proud to carry it.
