I saw in vintage knives e-zine, a scagel repro jack. the pulls were oval holes. Much like the pulls on my bucktool, or the SOG aautoclip. They seem to be a great idea-why don't more people use them?

Man,, you have just asked a question that has been lingering in my mind ever since I purchased two of these knives from the Pupster on VK back in October.. I have one on my belt right now and I can tell you that I cannot seem to change it out for my EDC for more than a day or so before I go right back to this great folder produced by Northwoods and David Shirley & friends. The ease of retacting the blades from the hole pulls are extremely comfortable to use!.. It may take a while to catch on, but I think it wont be very long before you see more modern folders adorned with these hole pulls..
