I'm ready to order a custom auto, but in a 'scale release' variation.
Does anyone have any opinions on scale release vs traditional button release, or any other type of release?
Pro and Cons would be good..

Thanks

If I were going to purchase an auto, I would go with the scale release. I think because I am fascinated with how it works. I would like to have a "dual action" scale release auto. That way you can open it legal if anyone asks, use the auto when you need it.

You might check out Center Cross Knives - he has some good scale release autos to choose from.

I've got one of Gene Osborn's CenterCross scale release autos. I like the scale release better than my buttons. a casual observer doesn't know what they're looking at. Most people can't even figger out how to open it.
once you get used to it, its easy to open/close one hand, and securely locked all the time. no accidental firing in pocket.
