Scale Replacement Question For ZTs

I am looking to purchase two new scales for my ZTs, (0301, 0550BLK). I am new to the forum, so I have a few questions. First, will the switch be a simple one? Two, I have been in contact with Cuscadi, for the custom scales, (specifically hunter orange), but does anyone else have a reputable custom scale designer they can recommend, that is not backlogged?

Bellabaldes on here has them for the 0550. Or you can buy the same scale from bladehq for a mark up

Putman's scales are also CNC, and fit flawlessly. I don't think anyone can make them at a profit w/o CNC. I have them on a Grip and they are awesome.

I have one from Monkeys edge with a frag pattern, very nicely done and perfect fit. One from Gator scales again very nicely done and perfect fit, the scale on the 560 is sculpted like the original factory scales but with much better grip.

The Acu was the only color he had left when I got it, I'd much rather have had a plain brown or od green or tan.

You could always DIY... :thumbup: As for switching out factory scales for custom ones it's typically a cinch as long as you have the right torx bits etc.


Handmade by me with a drill press and dremel; these represent my first and second attempt at custom scales...

They're not perfect but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I learned a bunch in the process! :thumbup:
