scale swaps (endura 4)

Hey guys I really want a FFG ZDP Endura 4 with purple scales. IT seems to only come in the green color. Im thinking of buying a purple endura 4 AND a ZDP endura and just swapping the scales.

Im assuming they are compatible? Anything I should look out for? I hear scale swaps on the enduras are a little tricky.

Oh yeah, while im in there does anyone know where to get black hardware? screws/pins etc. I think it would go well with the purple.

Can't help you on the hardware, but as long as you keep all the metal pieces together and can accept the fact that you're voiding the warranties on both knives, swapping scales and backspacers between the various flavors of FRN Endura 4's works fine.

Ok cool, just wanted to check. Dont need any surprises! As far as the warranty I dont mind, if i break one ill buy another and support the company, I love the knives too much to try and get a free one haha.
