scales for 556LE CPM-m4

Hey guys, just bought a 556 LE.. wondering if anyone has suggestions for a nice set of scales. Not looking to spend a fortune. Kind of looking for the best bang for my buck.

-New to posting, so I hope I'm in the right spot.
 
Will this be used sparingly or will it be a constant companion?
Whats important to you?
Grip 100%, Looks 0%
Grip 50%, looks 50%
Grip 0%, Looks 100%
 
I'll carry it often. But definitely take care of it. I'm a user that maintains my knives. I'm thinking like 50-50 grip to look. Maybe even 75-25 towards grip. But I don't want it to the point of ripping my pants all up.
 
Would you prefer to be holding a article of clothing (cloth like feel) or something harder, toothier?
Micarta type materials are very grippy and cloth like.
Textured G10 is much sharper and toothier (like a file).

Do you want it to look fresh or do you prefer it to get a broken in look?
Micarta types will get a patina or a antiquing to it's look.
G10 will get scuffed and dirty, the dirt can be cleaned pretty easily.
Some G10 can dull and get chaulky too.
 
Canvas micarta seems to be pretty popular. The mini grip I own that I'd call my worker always has micarta scales. I'm a fan. G10 gets you brighter truer colors though.
 
Deathofallthings.. your work is incredible.. is it possible to do some cf scales for me? How long is the wait?

No problem, you can email me with any questions. ryan_m_roberts@hotmail.com I have most of those materials in stock all the time, and it only takes me a day to get more if I happen to be out of it.
