Anyone know where I can get full g10 scales or any other gripper material for a sequel 707. I would also be interested if someone knew how to make one or where to get the raw materials? Has anyone tried this? I work around water so I wanted a little different scale on my knife.

The forums won't allow me to private message those people currently...? Any idea the ballpark on price or what materials people commonly use for stuff like that (besides g10). Also...those materials would be larger than the current aluminum handle I assume, making the knife thicker when carried? If either of you know these two guys could you have them post here possibly until I figure out why i cant pm?

I don't know if Cusacadi is here on BF, a simple search will help you locate their website. Just send them an email.

I couldn't find customized 707s but I did see a 705

The Aero Carbon material with brushed finish will approximately set you back anywhere from $225-$300 (guesstimate since the 710 costs 260 Euros) before shipping.

If you go to my public profile; you should be able to get my email address through there.
That is, if you haven't already done that.
I just got an email today from someone concerning a 707.
I'm not sure if you two are one and the same, or not.
Here's a 707 in Red Carnelian

I don't think there's a lot of difference.
But, the Juma (Red Carnelian) is lighter than the aluminum w/G10 insert.

You could also take the scales off a 705, put them on your 707. Would need to cut the screws down a bit as the 707 is a bit thinner.
