Scales for BK14

Hey guys. Just wanted to see if any of you knew or are someone who can make some custom scales for the BK14. I bought the zytel handles and they are too slick in my hand. I modified my black ones with a hot soldering iron and I like them so far but want to see if anyone makes them that will actually extend the length of the handle.
 
I'm having some made for my bk14. Wooden ones. When I get them ill let you know how thay turned out. You may want to use the same guy. Won't recomend him yet till I see what I get & how thay fit.

If you're not happy with the zytel scales, instead of soldering them, you might want to try to give them more grip by rubbing some rough grit sandpaper on them?
Note that this is just a thought, I have not (and will not) tried(try) this myself.

Hey Tommy, if you were wondering who grabbed those Cocobolo 11 scales, it was me.

I saw them and thought 'Them thar are bad a**' and the BIN was good.
I figured out it was you from the PayPal receipt.

Thanks a bunch man, I look forward to mounting them up and will post a pic for the masses.
