The scales for my BM585 have been shipped.
I'm not a patient person and this has been a trial...So used to ordering something online and having it in several days. This has been several weeks...ugh.
I don't think I could ever order a custom knife and wait months...or longer...to get it...I think my head would explode.
Here's a pic of what's coming.

That's beautiful! May I ask where you order the scales from? I'm looking for a set of scales for my BM710.

Thanks,

Cuscadi is the company I bought them from.
They are custom made as are all their scales I think...that is what takes the time...
Check out the link for all the cool stuff they have made and have available.
I think they are limited by your budget and imagination. It seems they can do just about anything with scales.
The average price is 75 Euros including shipping...great price for custom scales.
You email "Luke" with questions, order, etc. and he sends you a pdf invoice which you pay via PayPal.
Luke is awesome to deal with too. Very patient, informative and quick to reply/respond...sometimes within minutes via email.

That burl is beautiful.

I hope you go ahead an use that knife and don't just put it away.

You're gonna love them. The folks at cuscadi do some excellent work, and Luke is very easy to deal with. Definitely worth the cost.

I just ordered some carbon fiber scales last week from Cuscadi for the mini grip. Can't wait to get them!

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of wood is that?
