The Scales just snap into place due to the liner... and mount firmly using supplied hardware. The Scales just add a whole new perspective to the Izula....
Just Bringing my Black Izula up to speed to match my Junglas for a kit I am Building for my Junglas Sheath :thumbup:
Using the Janus pack & a Sling... & maybe a M1 or H1 pouch ?
 
I just ordered my 2nd Izula. First was a desert tan scale-less, now I have a black with scales on its way. I'm very interested in playing with both simultaneously and seeing which feels/performs/looks better.
 
I like the look of the scales but I'm still stuck on wrapped because I just think it makes the Izzie a more personal knife JMHO :)
 
Great pics Tony. Every time I see them I start leaning toward the scales. Sheath looks good too.
 
Sheath is Shotgunners and this was my second set of scales.. I've had sitting in the safe ,could not decide which Izzy to put them on ... RC version Black,Tan or ESEE Izzy Green or Tan
My RC Green is a EDC w/ scales and wife pink Izula she did not want them on it ....she likes the pink para cord...
 
TTD, please post pictures of your completed junglas setup, this is something I have been wanting to do and would love to see how you do it!!

all 3 of my izzys have scales. but the wife loves her pink one i wrapped with black paracord. cant go back to the cord after having the scales.
 
Man I still gotta pick up some scales. I know my Izula would see a lot more use with those babies on it.
 
Those look so good, I finally got around to ordering a black one with the scales the other day, I can't wait until it shows up
 
I agree ... Once I slipped on a pair of scale to my EDC Izula ... Cord wrapped ones dont cut it anymore.... So I think I need 5 more pairs LOL
 
This is what I eventually intend to have.

6 Izulas

Two of each, Black, OD, and DT

One of each colour with scales, and one of each cordwrapped.

Then you can play with whatever colour you prefer and whatever handle configuration you prefer at any time.

Right now I've got an OD with OD cordwrap. The DT is enroute and I've got scales for it. Off to the races.......
