I thought about a poll, bunt didn't feel like putting it together.. What are the most desirable scales on a Busse blade? Who wants what scales? Does the size matter on your scale choice? I haven't had any yet but I am kinda drawn to green linen. Next is green and black G-10, then black canvas (the only one of these i have had for any length of time). Considering some new scales on one of my Busses and am trying to keep an eye to the future and re-sale. I will go with what I like but also want to give some consideration to the market and what others like. I know that some people are into particular colors for particular reasons but I am just looking to get an overall feeling. Keep in mind that I will definitely make my own decision, but am curious as to what everyone else's thoughts are (the trouble with drinkin' and thinkin" :D)... Have fun with it, and like Jerry says, "Let's Drink!"

Linen micarta, it just simply feels better in use. Canvas is a close second but is a tad rougher.

My all time favorite is green linen, that stuff just sings when its done right.

Tan and Black G10 or Black and Tan G10 (see....I am all about options ;) ) for practicality ... Black Canvas.

I like the feel of linen or canvas micarta the best, but that yellow/black g10 sure does look great!
Ok, some of the other colors look good, too.:D

As long as its Micarta I don't really care that much on the newer stuff.

If you could still get the old school Green Linen, or Snake I would go with one of those two. Tiger would be third.
Of the current Micarta I slightly prefer Black Canvas, and Black Paper over others.

I like Black G10 the best. Black & Orange and Black & Blue work for me too.

I'm very partial to black canvas. I love its feel, and I love the look it gets when it's been used.

To me the bedrock appeal of a Busse knife is it's fantastic functionality. That is why I prefer black canvas micarta over all others. I do like the looks of snakeskin, though, and can see the appeal of orange and black/orange G10. i have never bought a Busse with wood, bone, or other less durable materials.
