Does anyone make canvas micarta scales for the Mini Hogue Ritter?
I like the G10 it came with, but I would like a little different twist.

I'm not sure, maybe ask in the knife makers market.

That would be awesome,I have the full size model and they are great knives..my only complaint is the pocket clip

OK, NONE!

In that its a very new model, its possible makers just do not have them readily available, it might be something you need completely custom. I think @BOOMER52 might be able to do it. Maybe @Keyman

Alternatively, Knifeworks has a purple G-Mascus version out. I might have to get one... TOO MANY KNIVES ON MY LIST!

I am learning the advantage of micarta over g10 and cf. I understand micarta can change color as it absorbs dirty stuff and hand oil but what else? Frankly my cf sebenza looks 10× more attractive than my micarta inkosi.

I've been interested in the Mini-RSK but I don't like the scale texture. If I could get smooth or more gently textured scales in either wood or Micarta, that could push me off the fence.

I actually emailed Doug Ritter last week and asked if he knew of anyone making custom scales for this knife. He did not.

You might try Karbadize! I don't think he's making any of those at this time but he's usually game to build whatever you want if you're willing to pay the piper!! Never hurts to pose the question!!! His email is that k word in the first sentence @ g mail dot c o m .....

Good luck

AAAnnnddd now there's another one on MY list... that I had no idea existed until you spouted off about it...

If you see a knife that you know I need to buy, I wish you'd just keep it to yourself, ya Bastid.

(Or you can tell me about it, either way :D )

You know you love me. Even if I am the devil on your shoulder.

That Purple G-Mascus was on my list for awhile and I finally picked up one LNIB on the Exchange. I love the knife with the exception that the G10 texture is a little too aggressive. I wish Hogue would smooth it out a little bit. Otherwise the knife is awesome and very attractive. I'll try to post a couple of pictures later.

Cuscadi is usually able to make custom scales for most knives. I'll be honest and say they're not usually my first choice, but when I have a knife that no one else will make scales for, they've always taken on the job. They do good work too.

Regarding the discussion about the purple G-Mascus Mini Ritter:
Here are three pictures. The Mini Bugout is a very pure, shocking violet. The Shiro Tabargan is pure blue, although a little dulled from carry.

Hope this helps.
When flanked by true blue and true purple, I think the Hogue definitely falls into the purple spectrum.
