Scallion handle thickness?

How thick is the handle on the 1620/1620ST? The photo on Kershaw's site is 2 dimensional, so there's no way to see this. Its handle appears to be, perhaps, thicker than the other models of the Scallion (which are all aluminum), but can someone verify it. I prefer a thicker handle, and blades with the thinner, metal handles feel a bit, well, thin in my hand. TIA.

i've held the ST, but I can't remember. i don't remember it being thicker, but that doesn't mean it's not. anyway, here's my 1620BL.

Well, that looks to be about a half inch thick, which is thicker than I figured, so maybe it will be fine. Let's see if anyone who owns one with that polyamide (whatever that is) handle can shed more light.

measuring it, the thickness is exactly 1 cm (i.e., a smidge over 3/8"). not quite half an inch though.

I finally found a store in my area that carries Kershaw and got to handle the Scallion. Verrrry nice....
