Am I being paranoid? I won't click on this. I don't like the email address of the sender, for one thing.

From : "Sweet Gift Cards" <jaspernoe@ngegeme.dobbersearch.net>
To : xxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.com
Subject : Your Walmart Gift Card is here.

You can recieve a $250 Walmart Shopping Card by simply visiting this website.

As my younger brother has been so often quoted as saying, "If you think you're getting something, you're a dummy and you don't even know it."

by the way, xxxxxx.com is registered to a Ingo Richardt in Germany.

dobbersearch.net, on the other hand, ends up at an unnamed party in Eugene, Oregon. Interesting.

It's sceptics like you that take the fun out of anonymous internet romance. :D

Might I suggest you change your email provider from xxxxxx.com to something more reliable. How do you pronounce your name anyways? I'm guessing x and the other 6 x's are silent, no?

Ah, you foreigners confuse everything. Why can't everyone just speak English.
I'm not a foreigner, but I don't speak English...I speak AMERICAN!.:D.

Gee, you're just starting to get these free $250 scams? I must be on everybody's scam list - been getting this kind of crap for almost a year. Can't seem to get McAfee spamkiller to work with Juno. I have my fingers trained to automatically delete this stuff.

Juno 7 is a significant upgrade from Juno 5. It has a button for Delete anda button for Report Junk. I'm wearing out the button for Report Junk.

Heard a guy on local talk radio this morning discussing this scam or one similar.
He said that when you reply, they contact you and tell you that there is a small shipping/handling fee for sending you the card, and they ask for your bank account number so that they can transfer the fee directly.

I clicked the link! I clicked the link!

I just received an e-mail confirmation that I'm engaged to Ingo's sister, Inga, a Danish shotputter who speaks German and lives in Eugene, OR.

We're registered at Wal-Mart and her name just appeared on my bank statement.

P.S. - My wife says I should take the $250 and move to Utah. Her attorneys will contact me.
