Hey all. So I got this knife in from KSF today. Love it but it has a feature I'm a tad confused about. I noticed it in the picture and it didn't bother me a bit so got it anyway. I thought the O1 knives had spalting and the CPM 154 had fiddle texture. This has spalting AND fiddle texturing. Could someone please elaborate? Here's the specs from KSF.

It showed up in stock and I purchased it on 12th Jan 2015 for reference.

Fiddleback Forge: Bushfinger - Black Micarta - Natural / Lime Liners - Scandi - 1/8" O-1

I think I see what you're talking about. Sorta towards the tip, right? I have an asp that appears to have both spalting and fiddletexture as well...no idea.

Here is a pic of the current fiddler texture
Sorry for the crappy pics but my good camera is at the shop

It is much more linear

They are always trying new things
The second pic shows much better
It's quite possible it has both
It's been done before

It certainly makes it unique from the rest of my FB's. I like it. It's a bit heavier than my other Bushfinger and the handle is a touch longer & thicker.

I'm glad you bought that one :D and saved my bank account from completely crashing.

I'm not much for scandis but that is one sweet Bushfinger. Congrats.
