its finished,ime very happy with it,the handle being spalted was a little soft so it was soaked in super glue for a couple of hours then dried and then sanded waxed and polished and now is rock hard! i did a simple scroll on the handle.

ime ver pleased with the spalting and is better than i could have baught!
next will be the sheath.
