Scandi grind on F1?

Has anyone tried to reprofile a newer F1 (the laminated steel version) to a scandi grind? Does the laminated steel make this difficult/impossible? I've been not too fond of the convex grind on my new F1, and have liked the scandi grind knives I've used in the past. And if I go this route, anyone know who might be able to do this for me. Mods, sorry if this is in the wrong place; couldn't decide if it belonged in the Toolshed, or here.
