Scandi Grind Tip

Hi All,
I recently received a casstrom woodsman bushcraft knife with a scandi grind. Knife is solid and well constructed but I noticed the edges on each side don't meet symmetrically leaving the tip viewed from the spine looking uneven.
Is this typical of a scandi grind?
Something I can grind out myself?
Or for the money spent, should be returned and replaced with a new?

I love the knife and is my first bushcraft knife but not sure if this is a feature of a scandi grind or an imperfection in sharpening?

All advice and comments welcome.
Thanks

If it is hand forged there could be some asymmetry, but unless it is extreme it shouldn't affect the function. My Roselli blades are not perfectly ground but they cut extremely well.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

Yea seems to be something people accept. Is my first knife of this type and agenda so wanted to make sure if doesnt negatively impact any of the knifes purpose.

Let us know how it performs. If it's minor you can probably do some reprofiling. I've found a DMT Dia-Sharp extra coarse hone works well.
