Scandi heat treat question

I'm doing some scandi grinds on S30V. I will be sending them to BOS for heat treat. Right now my edge is .040 thick. I have no experiance with S30V post heat treat. Should I go ahead and take the edge to .020? Is S30V tough to grind after heat treat? Stock thickness is .190 Any opinions, help or warnings would be appreciated.

It's a bear to grind after H/T.I would take the edge down to .020 and do as much hand sanding as you can before you send them.

Thanks for the positive reinforcement. That's how I was leaning. I have done several scandi grinds. On D-2 and A-2, I always take them to .020 but I do the heat treat myself.
