I got the scandi on Tuesday so I took it out back to take a few pics and get it a little dirty. Nothing major. I made a fuzz stick and split some branches with it for a fire New Years Eve, cut up some Yucca for making cordage yesterday.

Looks great, I'd like to see it without any secondary bevel though( or is it just how it looks in the pics ?) !

It does have a SUPER tiny Secondary bevel. I would prefer none, but I don't even notice it when cutting. Besides, it is so tiny after a few sharpenings I think I would be gone anyway. It cuts very nicely. Perfect size.

Do want!

Very much looking forward to the bushcrafter I have on order after seeing these pics.

It has what I would call a micro bevel. If anyone wants to sharpen it out, I have no problem with that. As C Bryant said, a few sharpenings and it will be gone. I want to know how it worked, did it feel ok?

Technically, most scandi-ground knives (even Mora knives made in Sweden) have a microbevel--there was a big discussion about it on one of the bushcraft forums I lurk around. Still, very cool!

Hi C Bryant -

I am interested to hear how it worked out as well.....

best regards-

So far so good. Feels nice in the hand. Has a very nice grind to it. Takes a stropping great. Made some nice fuzz sticks. More to come later.

It really looks like my kinda knife, I can't wait to give it a go now !!!!

This looks like the knife Ive been longing for. I like how the entire blade is ground and how the handle is smaller the the blade. Ive always liked dangler sheaths.

I just started my own business, if it is profitable Ill get one of these.

Does it carve wood like a Mora?

There is another review by veubent that shows some woodwork. Good luck with your new business!
