Please give me your opinion on some scandinavian knives:

Martiini
Mora 2000
Helle
Brusletto

Thanks

You listed 3 brands and one knife design. It is like asking, "give your opinion about Ford, Chevy, BMW and Honda Civic".

If you are looking for "best", there is no such thing. They all make good knives and also some bad ones.

I have several scandinavian knives from Martiini (5), Brusletto (1, the lovely Rognald) and Roselli (3). I like them all, and my favourite is Roselli. They feel more classic, more primitive, yet they are very good. My fave Roselli is the carpenter knife (a classic puuko in fact), and it exists in a normal carbon steel version (which I have) and in a very hard Ultra High Carbon version. So, check out this brand as well.

Martiini
Mora 2000
Helle
Brusletto

Brusletto and Helle are more refined, more attention paid to the look.
Brusletto now has also a few plastic handled knives
The mora has a complete different look, ugly but all performance.
Martiini is between both.

Talk about steel:

Helle laminated steel
Brusletto 12C27
Mora 2000 12c27
Martiini ?

All knives are very good for the price.
The martiinis are quite soft 56 HRC, 12c27 (57-58 RC), Laminate (59 RC core)

Ragnar has a nice page about the national and regional differences in the Scandinavian knives

And some info about the brands

but maybe you already knew it

I've had three Helles, I just discovered that the Moras are great, but I am not a fan of the scandi grind. I preferred my Kellams over the Helles, but that was because the Kellams are carbon steel. The three Helles were the Harding, Bra Kura and I can't remember the first one. All were great knives, although the Brakura's handle was way too small for me.
