Scanning knives...

This thread opened my eyes a bit and I thought that maybe some of you would enjoy it as well.

I've not attempted to scan any pictures of my knives (or anything else) since I am into photography, but the results (in the thread linked above) were excellent so I think it is something I'm going to try.
 
I have seen the traditional folks using a scanner - I have never done that.

My scanner is in a bedroom upstairs where my file server is - so I only use it for printing, I don't think I have ever scanned anything on the current unit.

The results look pretty good in that thread you linked though - thanks!

(btw - your pictures are better than scanner shots anyway...)
