A recent order for a pair of folders has turned out some absolutely wonderful damascus.

While the wait continues for the professional imaging to be completed, I figured I might as well offer a "teaser" shot of one of the blades - see what the crowd thinks of what looks to be some super chatoyancy throughout both blades.

As to the maker, it's part of the tease, but any Customs forumite should quickly recognize the master's work.

Pro imaging will be posted sometime soon, I believe, giving a more complete view of the outcomes.

Jon, the order for both blades was for Damascus, his choice. What Don didn't know, and what I never expressed to him, was that a raindrop pattern was the first Damascus pattern that had ever drawn my interest, years ago (by Devin Thomas, I seem to recall). A closet raindrops lover ever since.
 
the scary tac is my all time favorite folder! beautiful knife. can't wait to see the rest.
 
that Hanson fella is pretty ballsy ;)
