I came across a Schrade scrimshaw in new condition however the blade is a 1250t. My research tells me there is a discrepency here as the 1250t didn't come in a scrimshaw frame. Others have said that Schrade did some strange things. Anyone have info or opinion on this?

Need to see some good pictures of it. They had the same frames. Covers were different.

Sorry I'm not set up to add pictures just yet.
You're right I miss worded my first post. What I meant to say is that the scales on the 1250t's that I came across in my research are not in the Scrimshaw such as the one I have. They all have the brown scales. I do have two other Schrade scrimshaw knives and both have the letters SC in the tang stamp (SC507 and 261SC).
The knife in question has the cream colored scrimshaw handles with a picture of an eagle on one side and pine cones on the other. I appreciate your input, just kind of wondering if this was a Schrade factory combination or if it is a "Frankenknife"
