Schade 881 Quest1on

Looks like I have a new passion for Schrade open stock knives since I didn't know they existed until of late especially since I been collecting Shrades for about 6 years now. I found more from a dealer at the gun show in Knoxville than any where and at decent prices but never once saw a open stock knife. Anyway my question is I just received an 881 opens stock today. What knife would it be closest to in the Old Timer line. It wouldn't be the 8Ot. The 8OT is bigger and seems heftier.

The 8OT and 881 are the same size. I have seen some knives on the same frame from different years with thinner springs, liners, and handles which might make a difference, but for the most part they are the same knives.

I notice my 8Ot has a blade edge all the way up but the 881 doesn't. Almost but not quite. I guess it's my imagination but the ot looks bigger but the 884 definitely looks better
