I just picked up a S&M jack on eBay and hope that one or two of you guys know what it is. I'm guessing that it's an anniversary knife.

This was the description:
SCHATT MORGAN ETCHED ON BIG BLADE 1902 - 2002.BLACK HANDLES WITH BARELY VISIBLE IVORY COLORED PATTERN IN IT. WAS TOLD IT IS BUFFALO HORN?? DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE. LOOKS LIKE MOTHER OF PEARL SHIELD IMBEDDED IN HANDLE ON ONE SIDE.

It's eBay item number 140087787235

Thanks for any help...

Schatt & Morgan Annual Series #12 celebrated 100th Anniv. done in Buffalo Horn w/Mother of Pearl Keystone shield inlaid. The straight jack was part of the series

Thanks Onesandyjim. I did a little research on my own and found that this S&M Anniversary Series #12 were limited to 1,000 of each of the seven knives in the series. The blades were 420M with a Rc of 56 -58. The MSRP was $117.30 and you ca still buy them for around $95 plus ship...

Thanks again.

Just finished reading an article in Knife World (March) by Dr. David Krauss. He states that there were "378 sets" made that year.
So I would think that around $100.00 is not a bad price. The Buffalo Horn is a beautiful handle material but, it doesn't travel well in the pocket with other items. (keys, coins) It marks up easy.
