Hello all,
I'm trying to determine the value of an S&M Mountain Man Trapper that I recently inherited (I know nothing about knives). Can anyone recommend online resources, etc. that might be useful? I've looked around eBay and seen similar S&M knives selling for $150, however, I was wondering if the condition and series number (1 of 600) of my Trapper might add to its value. Thanks a bunch!

$150 seems to be about what they are going for, but that is not one of the more sought after patterns (jumbo size with redundant blades), so it might take a while to sell.

Thanks for the info. Poking around here it looks like this website is a great resource. Are there any forums that you would recommend joining?

I use lots of different gun forums, but this is the only knife forum I visit. Still the best.
