S&M have had a few toothpicks out over the years. The newest has about a 3" ATS34 blade and a 4" handle with wormgroove bone. That's probably the AGR. There is a 2000 S&M with a 4" ATS34 blade and a 5" handle. You can't find that one easily anymore. There is a bone handled one with a pearl shield that is less than 4" blade made of 420HC, but I don't remember how big it is.

Texas Toothpicks are great knives. Many makers produce them. I have several in several different sizes. "Small/Mini" is usually 3" closed. The "large" is usually about 5" closed. S&M's "medium" is about 4.25" closed.

I've seen them made by just about everyone. S&M are the only ones I know who make a medium.

Hello there Lenny,

I picked this one up from a friend who runs a small but very cool internet site at cuttersandcollecters.com with reasonable prices. This one is large indeed at 5 inches closed but feels really very comfortable in a mans hand. Its got a super lockup and a perfect fit and finish. But what really got me was the authentic vintage rogers bone scales. The photographs does not even come close to doing any justice to the beauty that this piece actually possesses. I originally bought this Texas toothpick to carry and use. I even purchased a suitable sheath to carry it in. But after receiving it I could never bring myself to do anything more than to oil the joints now and then and admire it often.

Case also makes a medium toothpick, but they make far fewer of them
than of the tiny toothpick. (The Case tiny toothpick is 3" closed.)

Hello there tthman,
If I understand you correctly in your post here, I believe you are putting the question to me on whether or not my Texas Toothpick is 5 inches in length in the closed position.. If this is in fact your question, then the answer is "yes".

I don't know anything more about this large 5 inch Queen TT at the moment other than what I stated in my original post, however, I will contact my friend Ron Ryder at cuttersandcollecters.com which is where I got the knife and find out more if you like?.

If I misunderstood your post and this was not the question you asked me, than I apologize for this post and just disregard it.

Best,
Anthony
