I need a Walnut scaled knife to go with my new/old 336.

Yeah, I was thinking a Bowie pattern, but I never took a shinning to Bowies and really like the Woodcraft so a Woodcraft it will be.

yes, may & june, i'm thinking of doing a series of different blade patterns using the same tang shape[same as the edc contest knife tang shape]

I am thinking about this. A small Semi-Wharnie, possibly 3/32's 01 with full grind. OAL 5.5" or 5.75", I just need to tweak the proportions of blade and handle.
