Starting to schedule May orders, but if I keep moving ahead, I can possibly ship in late April.

I`m going to take a minute and explain why I am taking May orders. I have had people email me after seeing the list in the other thread, and ask why I schedule so few (16-20) knives per month. Very simply, I would prefer to schedule an amount I know I can finish on time, instead of over scheduling and have something come up and not be able to ship when promised. It seems there are always trips for tests or doctor appointments to go to. I would prefer to ship ahead of the promised date instead of being late on a promise. I hope this helps to explain things.

It's good to hear that you have a backlog at all John. Pretty soon we might be seeing that you are taking January orders (January 2013 that is!)

This is just another example of how your business practices set you apart. You actually plan to fulfill your orders based on your commitments.

I think thats a fair and considerate policy, as outdoorsfan says, more evidence of or greats service.

Hello,

I'm a new poster here but longtime reader. Just ordered two JK knives for May, and am really looking forward to them: an 'Anniversary EDC' and a 'Survival Tin' knife. I own two BRKT knives, a small Kephart-ish camper and a larger hunter/camper, and also a couple benchmade folders, but I use my knives a lot for camping, woodcraft any any other excuse I can think of, and appreciate good designs. Anyway I have to say, JK designs are right up my alley, just very cool and comfortable-looking, traditional and beautiful. I would buy more if I could afford it, just gonna have to save.

Thanks John for taking my order, it'll be a loong couple of months. :D
