I've carried mine since aquiring it early this spring.

I'm going to be without it for the first time since getting it as I'll be on vaca for two weeks and am flying this time.

I have my Chinook2 waiting for me when I land.

The Persian is one of my all time favorite folders by Spyderco. It sits well in the pocket, isn't heavy enough to be felt all day on the pocket yet is solid enough to perform about any normal task that could be asked of it.

It may be destined to be one of their more popular models, appealing to those with a sense of nostalgia [ in design, materials, and over all aesthetics ] as well as those who are looking for a solid performer made with materials that are designed to withstand the test of time with considerable ease of maintenance.
