So after seeing this thread:

We were inspired to do similar. Robert and I collaborated on the design. I profiled and tapered the tang, he ground the blade HTed and did the hand sanding (sucker), and I received it back to do the handle.

It is A2 at 60.5HRC flat ground with a sharp clip. The handle is some vintage canvas Micarta with ruby G10 liners and copper/stainless pins and lanyard tube. Tip to butt measures right at 11".
