My good friend Thorbyfour put a new pair of wood handles, convexed the edge and stripped this chunk o' steel, I didn't like the stock handles and I really like this knife. I forced a patina on it (grapefruit and white vinegar). He took it out to an outing to the mountains it performed like a champ, I will do the same as soon as I get the chance.

Nice, I've thought of changing the handle on mine, it is kinda chunky.

What sheath is that?

Thanks but it was a friend who replaced the scales and stripped the coating. I just love this cheap knife.

New to Patina but do you have to strip the coating on the blade first? That looks awesome and I'm kind of tempted to try it on mine. Also thinking about paracording the handle since i'm not a fan of the chunky scales.
