You guys need to get one of these if you're in the market for something like this! Great knife in my humble/ novice/ inexperienced opinion. Good review in Tactical Knife magazine & also reviewed on YouTube. Sorry, no pics, daughter put my camera somewhere... 1095 Carbon Steel, thick blade, nice sheath! $39.99 + $5.99 S/H. ordered on Sat., rec. on Tues. Deal Spotting removed. Can't beat it!

I have been looking at these....I am not a fan of the becker or esee line (owned and sold both brands)
I just want a general camping knife....

I don't get out enough to really worry about damaging the knife (warranty), and for the price, its not the end of the world to replace

Come on guys. Please do not deal spot.

We are always interested in the knives themselves, reviews, opinions, pictures, action shots. Just leave off the sales aspect. Your readers know or will learn how to find good dealers and prices on their own.

Just ordered the Schrade SCHF9 myself, what sold me was the blade design - I hate serated edges, the blade steel - said to be 1095 carbon, love that, and the price - just too low not to buy one ! The sheath doesn't look that great but useable and I do like the idea of the pouch so I can add a fero fire starter and other essentials. I like a good heavy knife and 1/4 inch thick 1095 with a plain back for batoning should take a lot of abuse ! for the lighter stuff like carving trap triggers and making fuzz sticks, I'll use my Kershall folder which may be carried in the puch on the Schrade sheath.
