Schlieper Copperhead with oddball celluloid scales

Picked this up today in a pawn shop, a little different than most Eyeball knives I see around here.
Cant find a knife with similar scales online, the model GXY is pretty common of course.

Not real familiar with these, but aren't they carbon unless marked Stainless? Hard to tell with the high polish.

Also, is anyone familiar enough to rough date it? I'm guessing 80's-90's due to the blade etch.
Edited : A little more googling has me thinking this is current production, these Eyeballs are pretty confusing to date.

I am a fan of Carl Schlieper - especially the early ones.
I have spent a wee while looking at the photo's and have blown them up - the pattern in my opinion has been added after market - in others the previous owner has done this - or had it doen, the pattern is very nicely done, but not by Schlieper.
These are great knives - good score.
