With all the Barlows lately I thought I would show mine. Just an old working man's knife. My very first ne2w knife was a Schmidt Ziegler barlow that my Dad bought me at a Sporting Goods store in Marion, Ohio about 50 years ago. After carrying it for a number of years I stupidly left it on the bank while fishing; I went back for it but it was gone. I found this one on the auction site a number of years ago and it's in pretty much the same condition my original was in. Whenever I get it out I still think about my Dad.

It is a Schmitt & Ziegler # 551 Solingen, Germany and their mark was a Running Bull
