Your thoughts on this awesome......awesome gun

I never fired or held one of them so i would appreciate testimonials from people who own one, I want one with a 7 inch barrel so that's a factor but anything will be great

I have the Uberti copy of the Schofield in the 3.5" barrel and another in a 5" barrel. They both are a blast to shoot. Before these I had old model Ruger Vacaros. I prefer the Uberti's. they seem to fit my hand better and are more accurate (maybe just because they fit my hand better!) They tend to be a it barrel heavy but that reduces any recoil should you decide to shoot any hot loads. I think I have had mine about four years now and never a problem with them. My suggestion would be to look up cowboy action shooting in your area and go see one of the shoots. I'm sure one of the folks would have these guns and be willing to talk with you about them.

Ok thanks I ask because made sure get me into cowboys when I was a kid and I love the dollars trilogy ( even though he never owns a schofield in it )

That show down in the graveyard with the music blasting defined "cowboy" for me
