I just bought a Scholar, model 326, for $21 at my local sporting goods store. I was very impressed with the quality and fit and finish of this knife. This knife has the best fit and finish I have ever seen for a knife under $50. Perfectly centered blade, no blade play, beautifully polished handles. My only problems with it are: it can be a little hard to open, the blade is 440A, and it is made in China. I love the blade shape and the design of the handle. Overall, a great deal for a little knife with perfect fit and finish. I bought it at full MSRP, but it can be bought on the internet for as little as $11. I highly suggest you guys check it out.

The Scholar is indeed a neat little all metal knife for the price. It is tricky to open and close one handed b/c of its small size, and not as slim as the Gent 325 which has long been my favorite knife to have engraved as a gift. I wish the Scholar was made in the USA too, but it would no doubt cost a bit more.
