Question about discontinued older Rats. I've read from searching, green coatings are pretty rare? Where does the Muddy coating fit in? Were they limited? Or are they as common as the Basic Black coating?

Thanks

OK, old Res-C handled SR's are almost always black over black. Sometimes tan over tan. VERY RARELY satin.

Of the micarta SR's, black is still king. Tan is likely a runner up. Green is way back.

Now the LATEST SR's (Rat Warden, Ratmandu, Chopweiler, etc.,) the usual suspects of Busse-family colors came around. So you could nab a green or sage or tan or sometimes muddy.

Muddy tends to be a special-release color. I want to say the first blade to have it was the Mud Razor (Busse Hell Razor cousin) back in . . . 07? 06? I've got an M6 in muddy. They were pretty rare vs. black in any case.

As far as #'s - no one knows but Jerry & Eric. As far as rare-ability, depends on the knife. What do you have in green and muddy?

Don't have one yet. Trying to get a couple micarta SR's, I assume they are Mud colored.
