Does anyone know the Italian OEM of the blades?

Im tempted but curious before pulling the trigger for a first Demko.

So we don’t really name our subcontractors (which is typical in the industry). I will say it’s a manufacturer that we have a longstanding relationship with. The quality and consistency has always been excellent.

Andrew is very stringent on who he works with as the sum of all parts of any knife are ultimately a reflection of Demko Knives.

I have no reservations in recommending the AD20I. Perhaps some members here can chime in and give their opinions as well.

badmatt badmatt oh, and I'd rather have the usa made regular too, but I can't seem to ever grab one...I'm always too slow even with email sign-ups and all effort put in....... the ol' day late dollar short routine

this Italian one will do. I have one of the cold steel 4max Italian made version. it's been a good solid knife. I'd expect Andrew and crew would use similar sub or better and hold high quality standards. so I got no fear of which maker in Italy was involved in the steel.

I bit the bullet and got one. glad I did.....

Sell me on it, JB.
I can't really since i just got it. really haven't used it yet, plus I don't have a custom American made one to compare to it.

tell ya what I know though.... it's assembled in the usa of American and foreign parts. box says that. fit and finish seems real good. smooth drop close and open action, no play in any direction. Just got today so haven't done anything to see how the steel is heat treated. sure Mike could find out for us....

Quick question: The jimping on the spine looks excessively rounded. Is there any meaningful traction? Or does it feel like your thumb is going to slide forward?
