The title covers my question. I have never seen any ZT knives in person and know next to nothing about them. I have been looking at the 0350 and considered getting one for a while now. I just want to know more about them before I drop the money for one. How easy are they to sharpen on normal flat stones or will it require me to buy something besides my Lansky set? Do I need to look for any red flags indicating it's a copy or fake?

They should sharpen on a normal stone or you can send it to ZT anytime an they will sharpen it free of charge. They are one of the best EDC bang for your bucks out there. You can get them in Stonewashed 0350KW, Tigerstripe 0350TS, and in a couple different blade steels as well more $$ of course. I have seen any copies ever so I can't say what to look for.. As long as they have serial numbers , KAI patented and ZT on the blade and clip your good to go. I have 3 different models and love them all. Also if when looking look no futher then kershawguy (Dave), he'll set you up right and fast.

I have a zt 0350 and I love it. It's officially my EDC. Although, it can be a bit on the heavy side, but if you a big guy like me that shouldn't be a problem. The flipper is fast and smooth.
What else is there to say that hasnt been said? Just get one! You'll Love it!:)

I guess I'll have to be the different one here, don't get the 0350, go ahead and get you a 0200, 0300, 0550 or an 0560. Might as well start out with what you'll end up with. :D

Just keep in mind s30v is a bit harder to sharpen than other more common steels. If you want something that is heavier, easier to sharpen AND better looking (in my mind) get a 0200! Either way your wallet WILL hate you after a few months!

0350, is good value. And it will make you want more ZTs. :) I have two 0350s right now , onwe with customs orange/black G10 scales and one bnib.

They actually aren't that heavy, being lighter than many of Kershaw's larger solid metal (framelocks) or metal scaled knives.
THey are a good size, but not huge by any means. when I first got them my immediate response was it was actually smaller than I expected. Hence being in the market for other ZTs :)
