School me on ZT 610/650

I've seen these in the past and they seem like the rarest of the rare when it comes to ZT. Why are they so elusive? Low production numbers?

Who has one? Pics!
 
If memory serves me right the 0610 was a tim galyean piece and the 0650 was definitely a G&G Hawk piece. They weren't made for much more than a year and then KAI got out of autos all together. Rough gestimate i would say around 2500 each made.

I personally like the 0650 the best but I'm also a huge G&G Hawk fan. Another one to look at is the Kershaw Rogue which I believe was a RJ Martin designed auto that was pretty stout. It could have been a ZT.
 
Which autos do you guys think are cooler? ZT (610, 650) or Kershaw? (Breakout, Rogue, Auto Commander)

I've got a Breakout and it's wicked fun.
 
I like the 0610 myself. Have a Breakout and a Rogue too but like the way the 0610 handle fits my hand.
 
0650 for ZT. I like the locking mechanism and release.

The breakout for Kershaw because i've never seen an auto open so fast and the thing is so light and thin its ridiculous. I suggest playing with one if you dont know what im on about.

If I could find a blue breakout I'd be soo, soo happy!

Tell me about it man. Mine opens so quick that it bounces off the stop pin before it can lock. Gotta look into that.

I'd like a purple breakout! It would go nicely with my black SW.
 
Bring this thread back! Want to see more people who have these two knives.
 
I have a 650 but it is a blem. Really cool auto, and I like it way more than the Breakout. I've got one of the Breakouts but the person I got it from put loctite on the lock and it wont lock. So far I havent had any luck breaking the lock free.

Back to the 650, I have carried it a few times and I have used it but I dont use it too much because it is such a hard knife to find. No pics but I will try and take some tomorrow.

If you don't grip it tightly, kind of just pinch lightly it at the deployment button, and it should lock.:)
 
Took me longer than I thought to get the pics up...work tends to get crazy this time of year. But here are some of my 650 and a couple comparison shots with a 300.
