I ran across a nice 171 at the flea market and jumped right on it for a good price. It has a few scattered pepper spots, but is really nice unused. My question is....Is this carbon steel? The way it peppered and just the look of it tells me yes,but i thought Uncle Henry knives were all stainless. Also, get this,it's marked # 00016.I thought that was cool.I wish i could keep it,but will need to sell.Thought maybe you guys could give me some useful info. Thanks in advance and enjoy the pics...Don

Thats a great early example. The 1st UH's were carbon but did switch to all stainless. This one probably is carbon.
