Hi all,
I have a Schrade 171UH that I will be selling once I determine a fair price.
It has been used, is in good condition. The sharpening stone is absent and I do not have a box for it.
is $165 shipped and insured a fair and reasonable price?

Please feel free to comment. I won't be offended. I have to have a starting point and that is where I am starting.

Without a single response I am guessing I am delusionally high and people are too polite to point that out in public? Please feel free to point me in a sensible direction.

I am not an expert, but I have bought and sold many USA Schrades, so I do have some frame of reference. Your price would be fair for a mint piece, complete with stone, but only able to command that price because collectors want minty examples. Yours is in very good condition for a user, or just a representative example, and being a Walden stamped knife would be worth more than the later issued ones. I have a minty 171UH from the later non-Walden run that I paid $100 for, complete with sheath and stone but no box. I think that would be a good starting point for your knife.
