At Trent's request here is some of it. It is about as thick as a small book so this is not all. It came form the SHOT show in 1984. One of the brochures had "1982 additions to Old Timer's family" but it all came together.

Does anyone know if the Turtle knife is expensive or rare? I think my son would like one. I did not remember it from 1984.

Glad you guys liked it.

Irv, I can not get the pics to come up when I click on the catalog. The catalog in your pic is on the left side of the package. It has many pages so I only took pics of 15-20%. It would take a long time to scan the whole thing if I had a scanner here.

What about that turtle knife in the pic? Has anyone seen one?

Here is the Imperial catalog from 1984. I'll get some pics of the inside later. Should it be on a different thread?

CopDoc,
There are 45 pages in the pdf for 1984 catalog on the web site. Check that you have a recent version of Adobe reader installed to view them correctly.
Below is a link to Scott's collectors corner on the site where he has sent pictures of all the Native American series of scrimshaw knives. Click on the small pictures to view a close up.

Check them out when you can.

Thanks Irv, It must be the Adobe thing.

Scott has the turtle knife and a nice collection of others. I can see that page.

Copdoc, the turtles usually sell for between $90 and $110 for the complete box with paperwork. Probably near half that for just the knife if you can find it. Nice catalog set!

Thanks, I like turtles and Schrades, so does one of my sons. He will want to use it so I don't have to look for the box. We have a hardware store not too far form here that has thousands of knives. I don't remember if they are open on Sunday but I have to go to the area this afternoon. They have many old and new knives and if any of you are ever in Elkin/Jonesville, NC area it is worth a trip. I'll take a camera and snap some shots if they don't mind and are open.

I would like an FC-21 myself! Get me one of those Trent, if you run across one, and I'll buy you several books of your choice.

retail price in 1984 for the FC-21 was $2,353.30. It looks like Schrade did not put the wholesale price in the folder. You prob had to ask for it like some of the gun companies.
