Schrade 293Y Trapper... I am guessing that this is an earlier knife.

I have had this knife for a few years. When I got it someone had cleaned? the blades. Both blades have some pitting, however they appear to be full. The pitting is actually minimal, there are only a few spots that I can feel with my fingernail. Most of the rest are only visible if the light hits the blades just right..
Both blades still have snap to them. Clip blade has some side to side movement when open. I lightly resharpened both blades...
Just to be upfront about it, I also did the quick patina to the blades (apple juice and vinegar),actually looks fairly good... Would have prefered to let it do it naturally but I have never used the knife...
Scales are tight and fit good with no cracks...
This really would be a great user, and is not as bad as the description, I just want to make sure that there are no surprises for the buyer..
